The Giving Tree has been blessed with growing relationships across many communities of children during the last 30 years.  We currently serve about 4,500 children within 25 communities that stretch across the central and south Phoenix valley, Mesa and Gilbert.  We are an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c) (3) organization, totally dedicated to those we serve.  We hope you will let us show you how to share yourself with these beautiful children.

 

Giving is done with thoughtfulness and care.  Choosing items for the children’s gift bags can make a difference.  The smallest children (1-5) receive fuzzy animals for them to love and cuddle and a religious item to help them connect to God’s love.  The middle age (6-9) receives things like long-arm stuffed animals, balls, etc. (simple, yet close/individual) and a religious item to grow in the understanding of God in their lives.  For the oldest group (10-14) a religious piece of jewelry to wear to remember God is with them always, and an activity item/book to grow in their faith and/or skills.  In addition, to sweeten it up, they are all given treats of various types to fill in their bags.

 

We have grown wonderful, supportive business partners (i.e. Oriental Trading, Autom Company, Smart & Final, etc) that help with discounts on the bulk purchases to extend the funds we get to cover the growing numbers of children.
